Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris, closed its doors few months ago for a complete and meticulous refurbishment led by interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, that will include renovation of rooms and suites.
To symbolize its history and its transformation, with a respect for environment and an ethical engagement, Prince de Galles has chosen bilum to recycle an iconic material: the toile de Jouy fabric, which was in the 168 rooms and suites and created a typically Parisian cozy atmosphere.
Bilum is a company specialized in recycling, which gives a second life to materials. Each piece is prepared by social inclusion companies, and crafted by the staff of ESAT (Institutions & Services Help for Work, for disabled persons), adapted companies and/or small workshops.
The famous toile de Jouy, in a palette of royal blues or soft yellows, has been transformed into toggle bags, with a clutch purse. Only 300 were hence created: each piece is unique and numbered. Unveil our video.
Shopping bag, picnic bag; make this bag yours and give the Prince de Galles' toile de Jouy a new life!
These toggle bags are sold €75, only available on bilumstore.fr.
